Shed slabs are often rough
Shed and garage slabs are usually finished to a lower standard than a house slab. That limits what can be polished, but grinding and sealing or an epoxy coating turns a rough slab into a practical floor.
Access on acreage
Machinery has to get to the floor. Driveways, gates and the distance from the truck to the shed all affect the quote, so photos of the access help.

- Can a shed slab be polished?
- Sometimes, if it was finished well. More often the practical answer is a grind and seal or an epoxy coating, which copes with a rougher slab and suits what a shed is used for.
- Do you seal slabs just to stop the dust?
- Yes. Dust sealing is a straightforward job on its own and is often the cheapest change that makes a shed or workshop noticeably cleaner.
