Information we collect

We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote:

• ✓ The suburb and, if you provide it, the postcode of the job.
• ✓ Project details you choose to tell us — the service you want, approximate floor area, number of rooms or areas, site access, and available site power.
• ✓ Any photos, plans or specification files you upload.
• ✓ Anything else you write in the message field.

We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or any sensitive information through this website. Please do not send them to us.

Why we collect it

We collect information and files submitted in connection with an enquiry or quote request so that Premier Polished Concrete can:

• ✓ Assess the work you have asked about.
• ✓ Contact you about your enquiry.
• ✓ Request any further information we need.
• ✓ Inspect or discuss the site with you.
• ✓ Prepare and issue a quote.
• ✓ Schedule and deliver the work if you decide to proceed.
• ✓ Maintain relevant business, job, warranty and legal records.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists from a quote request.

Photos, plans and files you upload

Photos, plans and other files you send with an enquiry are used to assess your enquiry, discuss the site with you, prepare a quote, schedule the work and manage the resulting project. They are stored with your enquiry and are visible to our team.

Sending us a file does not give us permission to publish it. Submitting an enquiry is not consent to marketing use. We will not use your photographs, plans or files in our gallery or portfolio, in advertising, or on social media or any other promotional channel, unless you give us separate permission first.

Service providers

We use a small number of third parties to run this website and receive enquiries. They process information on our behalf and only for that purpose:

• ✓ Website hosting — serves the pages you are reading and keeps standard server logs.
• ✓ Enquiry form processing — receives your form submission and any uploaded files, and delivers them to us by email.
• ✓ Email — we receive and reply to your enquiry by email.
• ✓ Website analytics — see the section below.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia. We choose reputable providers and share only what is needed for them to do their job.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and to improve its performance and content. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser information, referral source and interactions with the website. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, uploaded files or enquiry text to Google Analytics.

Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers set in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on. The site works normally either way. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies on this site.

Storage and security

Enquiries and files are held in our email and in the enquiry system used to receive them, protected by access controls and passwords. Access is limited to the people who need it to quote or carry out the work.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

How long we keep it

Information and files submitted in connection with an enquiry or quote request that does not become a job may generally be retained for up to 24 months after our last communication with you.

Where an enquiry becomes a job, relevant information may be transferred into our customer and job records and retained for up to seven years, or longer where reasonably required for accounting, insurance, warranty, legal or dispute-resolution purposes.

Duplicate, irrelevant or no-longer-required files are securely deleted or de-identified. If you would like your enquiry and any files you sent removed sooner, ask us and we will do that, unless we are required to keep them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. There is no charge for asking.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first — we would rather fix it directly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
