Premier Polished Concrete provides mechanically polished concrete, grind-and-seal and floor preparation for projects in Sorrento. Most of our work here is part of a larger renovation, so the practical question is rarely just which finish — it is when the floor happens relative to everything else on site.
What we do in Sorrento
Most Sorrento enquiries are part of a wider renovation, so we spend as much time on timing as on finish. A polished floor has to land at the right point in the build or it gets damaged by the trades that follow.
We quote the full path: removing what is there, grinding, levelling if the slab needs it, then polishing or sealing. Skipping straight to the finish is how projects end up paying twice.
Most relevant services: mechanically polished concrete and floor levelling and preparation .
Practical considerations
Where the floor sits in the program
Polishing too early means protecting the floor through the rest of the build. Too late and other trades are waiting. We will tell you the window that causes the least disruption.
The slab decides what is possible
What the finished floor can look like is set by the slab, not by preference. We assess it before promising a result.
Common questions
- When in a renovation should the floor be done?
- After the wet trades and most of the heavy work, before final fit-off. We will give you a specific answer once we know your program.
- Do you level the slab as part of polishing?
- Only where it is needed. Levelling is a separate stage with its own cost, and we will say plainly whether your slab requires it.
- Can you match a floor I have seen elsewhere?
- We can aim for a look, but not guarantee a match. Different slabs contain different aggregate, and that is what shows once it is polished.
